Enhanced N2O Emissions from Winter Wheat Field Induced by Winter Irrigation in the North China Plain

چکیده

Winter irrigation is important for wheat in meeting crop water requirements spring, but it alters soil moisture dynamics and affects N2O production emission. To assess the effects of winter on emissions a field, an situ experiment was conducted from 1 October 2019 to March 2020 with one control treatment (CK) five levels quantities (irrigated 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100% holding capacity, namely WHC60–WHC100, respectively). The results showed that had impact emission peaks were not investigated immediately after irrigation, at two days after, which increased by 4.3–17.0 μg·m−2·h−1 under WHC60–100 treatments compared CK. cumulative 1.1–3.9 times higher than CK, indicating has increase trend content regulated irrigations. Pearson correlation analysis between flux temperature moderate coefficients about 0.65. While poor during investigate season ranging 0.08 0.25. Future studies should focus general responses environmental factors support data several seasons.

HYDRUS Simulation of Sustainable Brackish Water Irrigation in a Winter Wheat-Summer Maize Rotation System in the North China Plain

Freshwater resources in the North China Plain (NCP) are near depletion due to the unceasing overexploitation of deep groundwater, by far the most significant source of freshwater in the region. To deal with the deepening freshwater crisis, brackish water (rich but largely unused water in agriculture) is increasingly being used in irrigation in the region. However, inappropriate irrigation with ...

Mapping the Irrigation Area of Winter Wheat Farmland in North China Plain Using Modis Remote Sensing Data

North China Plain is one of the most important agricultural regions in China with severe challenges of water shortage. Agriculture in the plain is very intensive. Farming in the region is a typical irrigation-supported system of winter wheat, followed by summer maize. Other important crops in the region include cotton, potatoes, soybean and various vegetables. Cultivation of these crops require...

Biophysical Controls on Light Response of Net CO2 Exchange in a Winter Wheat Field in the North China Plain

To investigate the impacts of biophysical factors on light response of net ecosystem exchange (NEE), CO2 flux was measured using the eddy covariance technique in a winter wheat field in the North China Plain from 2003 to 2006. A rectangular hyperbolic function was used to describe NEE light response. Maximum photosynthetic capacity (P max) was 46.6 ± 4.0 µmol CO2 m(-2) s(-1) and initial light u...

Radiation use efficiency and yield of winter wheat under deficit irrigation in North China

Water stress is a frequent and critical limit to wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production in North China. It has been shown that photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) is closely related to crop production. An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of deficit irrigation and winter wheat varieties on the PAR capture ration, PAR utilization and grain yield. Field experiments involved J...
